Our Story Begins Here
I am the proud mother of my beautiful daughter, Violette. Our journey together has been filled with unexpected challenges and incredible resilience, beginning with Violette’s early arrival into this world.
Violette was born at just 32 weeks, a precious preemie who had to fight from the very start. At birth, she experienced a stroke, and her first months were spent in the NICU, where she bravely endured a two-month stay. As we navigated through this difficult time, we learned that Violette has a rare genetic disorder, developmental delays, and Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI).
Our experiences opened our eyes to the significant lack of support for families like ours, who face complex medical and developmental challenges. This realization ignited a passion within me to create Blooming Violette, a space dedicated to providing the support and resources that are so desperately needed.
At Blooming Violette, our mission is to stand alongside families as they navigate the various processes and hurdles that come with raising a child with special needs. We aim to offer guidance, community, and hope to those who are walking similar paths. Our goal is to grow Blooming Violette into a flourishing community, where every family feels supported and empowered.
Thank you for visiting Blooming Violette. Together, we can bloom where we are planted and find strength in our shared experiences.

My passion for supporting families of children with special needs comes from both professional and personal experience. Having worked with children in the school setting, I gained firsthand experience helping students reach their unique potential. Over the past five years, my role has become deeply personal as I have supported my granddaughter with complex medical and developmental needs. Together, we’ve navigated daily therapies, specialist appointments, and the challenges and victories that come with raising a child with special needs.
Through these experiences, I’ve gained a deep appreciation for the emotional, practical, and organizational challenges families face. I am committed to providing compassionate support, practical resources, and encouragement so families feel empowered, informed, and never alone on their journey.
